Our scalable, high performance and always available processing centers scan billions of Web requests each month.
Distributed across multiple data centers, ScanSafe's managed service infrastructure is sourced from industry-leading suppliers and designed with inbuilt high capacity, resilience and scalability. The architecture is configured to maximize redundancy and all hardware is replicated to avoid single points of failure. Scanning servers are deployed in a fault tolerant stateless configuration and our high performance network is implemented using fast, mirrored drives. Regional load balancing is used to distribute traffic providing additional resilience and performance. Configuration provides fully replicated internal redundancy such that no single point of failure exists. Our track record is continuous 99.999% availability.

Our network utilizes high-performance route-optimized bandwidth to the Internet via a proprietary distributed metro NAP architecture and regional backbone network. With metropolitan SONET rings connected to multiple Tier-1 backbone providers, and by having direct private peering with numerous broadband ISPs, backbones and content providers, ScanSafe takes advantage of the fastest, most reliable Internet connectivity currently available.
Network and Service Monitoring
ScanSafe continuously monitors and optimizes our services to ensure maximum performance and reliability. Automated monitoring software verifies that all primary and secondary services are fully operational and that traffic levels are maintained within expected limits. Virus and spyware definitions and content filtering rules are continuously updated and customers are notified automatically via email whenever a threat is detected and neutralized. All exceptions triggered in our monitoring are then notified immediately to our skilled operations engineers responsible for service delivery.
